Content Filters

Choose what each followed account sends to a destination.

Supported Types

postsstring
Ordinary posts, including media and polls.
repliesstring
Replies to other posts.
quotesstring
Posts quoting another post.
repostsstring
Reposts with original content and attribution.
articlesstring
Published articles, not drafts.

Matching Rules

Choose at least one type. Ordinary posts do not match replies, quotes, reposts, or articles. A quote that is also a reply matches either selected type; it does not need both. Each source post produces one delivery record per destination even if multiple types match.

PUT replaces the account's filters rather than adding to them. Subscriptions use permanent account IDs, so handle changes do not interrupt delivery. Current handles and retained old-handle aliases are accepted when following an account.

Future Content Only

History is not backfilled. Scheduled posts become eligible at their publication time. Content that was private or otherwise ineligible is not guaranteed to be delivered simply because its visibility later changes.
